Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

fter reading The Hawk November 17), I must )mment on the item about the merican vehicle system that aces the driver's cab low down the chassis. I think that this brain-child of the Strick Cor)rationshould be blacked.

I would willingly drive a )den crane carrier, but no way ould I want to drive this )hicle.

In comparing the two, let us )t forget that a crane carrier is a iry different application to that wisaged for this vehicle.

According to my records, a ane carrier chassis was used r haulage some years ago by A. Bulmer & Co Ltd, of Middsbrough.

It was a Foden 28-ton gross ght-wheeler used to carry long ngths of steel, the low cab spensing with the need for a gh bolster and keeping the C G down.

Another point when cornring the two vehicles, usually

a crane carrier chassis cab, is at the window height is above e roadwheels and not on a ,el with them.
