Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO entirely new lightweight V-formation diesel engines at produced by the Cummins Engine Co., Inc., Columbus, USA. One is a 9,6-litre V-6 with a gross rating of 200 b.h the other is a V-8 version with the same bore and stroke dim this having a capacity of 12.8 litres and a gross power ou 265 b. h.p.

Both engines have iron crankcase and cylinder block c.astir wet liners, and the block contains a single camshaft for a of the injectors in addition to the valves, there being two it two exhaust valves per cylinder. All fuel and lubrication I passages drilled in the block, thus all external piping is elir giving the engines a clean appearance. The usual Cunan fuel-injection system is incorporated.

The governed speed of both engines is 2,600 r.p.m., and the unit has a torque rating of 444 lb.-ft., the torque peak of being 585 lb.-ft. These torque peaks occur at 1,800 r.p.m. C with' standard accessories the V-6 engine weighs 1,475 lb., tht of the larger unit being 1,800 lb.
