ACLEVER solution of the accommodation shortage in London was found this week by Hudson and Knight. Ltd., the well-known manufacturers of soap, when it required to hold a conference of its 300 sales staff.
The National Hall at Olympia was rented and 144 Berkeley caravans were hired to house the delegates. "Soap City," or "Caralyrnpia." as the caravanserai has been termed, is laid out as a town, with streets, lamps. gardens. a theatre and a public house—the Woollen Soak.
