Ma. H. K. STEIN, secretary and law officer of Shell-Mex and B.P., Lid., has retired after 30 years' service to the concern and its predecessors. During the existence of the Petroleum Board from 1939 to 1948, he was' its law officer.
MR. G. W. MOUSLEY. director of Mortons (Coventry), Ltd., has been appointed honorary secretary of the Coventry sub-area, and MR. P. A. BULLOCK, honorary secretary of the Stroud sub-area of the Road Haulage
Association. MR. E. B. Euts, vicechairman of the West Midland Area and chairman of the Potteries sub-area of the R.H.A., has been elected chairman of the transport section of North Staffs Chamber of Commerce.
