Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SERIALARSONIST has been found guilty of starting a fire that killed a Devon truck driver.

Darren Wringe faces a long jail sentence after a jury at Hull Crown Court found him guilty of the manslaughter of CH 13rannan driver Derek Bailey.

Wringe's friend, Kevin Fielding, was cleared after more than five hours of deliberations.

The court heard that Bailey awoke to find his cab engulfed in flames after he had parked up for the night outside a Homebase store in Grimsby last June (CM 29 January). He was inunediately overcome by smoke and heat and was unable to get out.

The prosecution alleged that the arsonist must have known someone was asleep in the truck as the cab's curtains were drawn.

Wringe and Fielding were caught on CCTV rooting around in a skip in Homebase's delivery yard shortly before the fire started. Initially they both denied having anything to do with setting light to pallets stacked next to Bailey's Scania, but they later changed their stories and blamed each other.

The court heard that Wringe, described as "an extremely dangerous man", had been jailed twice in the past: once for setting fire to a tramp and then for burning down a shop he had burgled. There was a suggestion the Homebase fire a sick prank that had gone wrong. but a proper explanation of why Wringe started the fire was not given.

Sentencing was adjourned for psychiatric reports.
