ROULETTE and blackjack will be among the elegant diversions at the first Fleet news show charity banquet and ball in aid of the Motor and Cycle Trades Benevolent Fund at the Hilton International Hotel in Park Lane, London, on March 2. The ticket price of £50 covers the cost of a reception, a six-course dinner, wine, liqueurs and so on.
Contrary to popular belief, the motor trade is not yet queuing up at the soup kitchen.
