KUEHNE AND Nagel has been granted authorisation for 120 vehicles and 240 trailers at a site in Fernhook Avenue, off Raynesway, on the Derby Commercial Park.
Goodman International, the developer behind the Derby Commercial Park, has applied to Derby City Council for permission to build the 632,000ft2 warehouse unit on the site for Kuehne and Nagel Drinksflow Logistics.
Kuehne and Nagel will use the building to carry out the contract it has with brewer Heineken. The warehouse will have 100 loading docks, parking for 164 trucks and a vehicle maintenance unit.
There will also be a three-storey office for admin staff and enough parking for 268 cars.
