• East Anglian van rental company Wil!hire is to replace its 50-strong SWB Transit fleet with Volkswagen Transporters. And Leyland Daf 400s will replace its LWB Transit vans and probably its pickups.
A total of 26 1,000kg VW Transporters have already gone into service, based at the company's 13 depots in East Anglia. These will be joined by another 25 in the spring. All 50 will be powered by the 1.9 litre 45kW (61hp) diesel
