IF YOU are a lover of old, or for that matter, new Scottish buses, then Glasgow Bus Scene, (XS Publications, £2 including postage) an album of photographs compiled by Robert Grieves, might just be the book for you.
It's all there, from Victorian horse-buses carrying fans to football matches to the latest Volvo luxury coaches on the booming motorway routes to London, with views — mainly from the past — of many of the fleets of buses which have served Scotland's largest city.
Don't expect acres of text, though; this is simply a collection of pictures — many of them never published before — which is calculated to appeal to those with an interest in days when public transport has a less arduous fight against the odds.
