Road, Exeter, owned by Budleigh 'transport, Ltd., must not be used for the repair and maintenance of vehicles, Exeter magistrates decided last week. The company had appealed to the bench against a notice served by the Exeter Corporation banning further use of the land for repair work.

For the corporation, Mr. L. J. Woodland said that before Budleigh Transport moved into the premises they had been used for warehousing. Nowadays, all kinds of vehicle repair and maintenance were carried out, including noisy operations.
