Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

In Group I base oils, solvents are used to extract impurities such as wax and aromatic molecules from the feedstock. However, with Group II oils, hydrocracking and catalytic dewaxing techniques are used to convert or remove significantly more of those feedstock impurities, especially unstable aromatic, sulphur and nitrogen-containing compounds.

It also improves the Viscosity stability (and ultimately lubitating performance) and oxidation stability of the base oil. Group II base oils give good low-temperature f loW too.
