Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Neway Anchoriok International Europe plans a big expansion of its product range by the end of 1999, to include trailer axles and single and tandem drive axle air suspensions for rigids. European sales manager Steve Kibbert acknowledges NAIE is limited by not having its own axle but says: "We'll have one for the new millennium".

Truck suspensions in the 6.8 to 14.5-tonne range are usually sourced direct from the US but by the end of the year these will be made at NAIE's recently opened plant at Hartlebury, near Kidderminster.

Both of its newest "ultra lightweight" oversfung trailer air suspensions, the NSE90 9-tonne model and heavierduty 11-tonne NSE110, are made there and by the autumn so will undershmg versions. NAIE aims to have a parts catalogue and price lists for end users by Christmas.

The design centres on a U-section main suspension beam with bottom closure, tapered hanger section, integral hydraulic damper bracket and three-paint bushing. Ride heights of 150mm to 500mm will cover all applications, says llibbert.

• NAIE's new £3 million, 4,000m2 Hartlebury factory has 33 employees operating on a single shift. Later this year another 17 staff will be taken on for double shifting.
