Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW system of motorway diversion symbols has been introduced by the DTp.

The signs will lead drivers off the motorway if a diversion is necessary and allow them to rejoin it as soon as possible using the route marked by the symbols.

An open oblong, a blockedin -circle, a blocked-in triangle and an open diamond are the signs to watch out for. Where there are two diversions on the same route, drivers should follow their route marked by one of the symbols.
