Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO high-flotation oilfield trailers equipped with interchangeable running gear, to permit operation in swamps or on normal roads, have recently been shipped to Africa for the Shell-B.P Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria. Ltd. The standard 28-ton trailers were adapted for this application by R. A. Dyson and Co., Ltd. For work in swamps they operate as full trailers with Cuthbertson low ground pressure tracked bogies at front and rear.

The forward bogie is attached to the trailer chassis through a conventional fifth-wheel coupling. Thus. for work on the roads. it can be removed to allow the trailer to be employed as an articulator behind Seammell Constructor tractors. The rear tracked assembly is also simply detached and can be replaced by a normal tandem-axle-wheeled bogie. When used off the road in tracked form the trailers .tre hauled by Albion-Cuthbertson Water Buffalo or Caterpillar D8 crawler tractors.
