SMITH, production director of the Perkins Group, is to become assistant managing director of the Hamworthy Engineering Co., Ltd., and will give up his appointment with Perkins on September 12. MR. T. H. R. PERKINS, manaking director of Perkins Engines, Ltd., will temporarily act as director of production, and MR. J. M. Counqs, export sales manager of Perkins Engines, Ltd., will become acting director of marketing for the group as Mr. Perkins will relinquish his responsibility for all group marketing activities.
