Purchase tax, which will be at -the, rate of 661 percent. on the retail value of vehicles costing more than £1,280 and at 33k -per cent: on other vehicles, is to be imposed on vehicles with roofed accommodation behind the cab and hailing side or rear Windows or constructed or adapted for the fitting of windows. Purchase tax will apply also to yehicles fittedwith seating for passengers or eonstructed or adaptedto be equipped with seats.
