THIRTY-F1VE tests are completed in -less than an hour in a. new " safety lane" set up by the S.M T. Saks and Service Co,, Ltd., at Fountainhridge, Edinburgh. The " lane " is the equivalent of an assembly line, and in it are tested brakes, steering,' wheels and tyres, suspenSion, lights. signals, seats, windscreen and other fittings, and all fuel connections.
