The start of the season
The jamboree kicks off in Telford on 18-19 April when the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers holds its FPS 2007 conference and exhibition. With more than 110 confirmed exhibitors, almost all the show stands are now booked as this show continues to grow year on year.
New exhibitors include SOS Tanker Sales, Vopak Terminals UK, Mabanaft, GRW Engineering UK and TR Bonnyman & Sons, together with long-standing exhibitors Oaf Trucks, Cistemas Cobo UK, Maidment Tankers and Magyar SA.
Interest in this year's event has been fuelled by the conference topic for 2007 the Buncefield disaster. Kevin Allars, head of HSE Chemical Industry Division, and Mark Calvert, MD of Adler and Allan, will be the keynote speakers at the two-day event. They will focus on the clean-up operation while Kevin Allars will discuss the safety issues.
