Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Ford is set to launch a chassis-cab version of the P100 this month. It was scheduled for launch earlier this year, but was delayed by the recent strike; although the P100 is built in Portugal, parts are supplied from the UK. Bodybuilders are interested in the chassis-cab, for conversions from ambulances to tippers.

Tipmaster is first off the mark, with a tipper body in three versions: economy, standard and high-spec. All are of welded-steel construction, with a 14 SWG floor and 16 SWG removable dropsides; the standard and high-spec models also feature a ladder rack.

Weight of the tipper assembly is 280kg, with a 0.88m capacity. Dimensions are 2.1 x 1.9 x 0.3m. The P100 will be the only true chassis-cab based on a one-tonne pickup on the UK market, its closest competitor being the Leyland Daf 200 Series. The only competitor likely to undercut it is the new Citroen C15 chassis-cab (see right on this page).
