• Leyland Daf Vans marked the official opening of its new marketing and sales offices in Birmingham with a ceremony Leyland Daf timed the opening of us new offices to coincide with the delivery of the first new 400 Series vans to be ordered by P arcelforce. conducted by Cor Baan, Vice Chairman of Daf NV. The new offices bring together staff previously based at the Common Lane plant and the parts base at Chorley, Lancs.
At the opening Baan emphasised Leyland Daf s commitment to the van market, with the new range planned for the mid-nineties and the agreement reached with Renault. He suggested that this collaboration might be similar to that between the truck division and ENASA for joint cab development and other R&D projects.
