• Fines and costs of £2,405 were imposed on David Clarke and David Betts, partners in W J Williams International of Bradford, and three of their drivers, when they admitted a series of drivers' hours and tachograph offences, before Bradford Magistrates. The partners pleaded guilty to six offences of permitting drivers to exceed the daily driving limit, taking insufficient daily and weekly rest, and to three offences of failing to produce tachograph records.
