• Coventry-based Mercia Express, the light commercial vehicles maintenance company, has commended BRS Car Auctions marketing strategy after it disposed of all its surplus stock at a recent van sale at Stoke. A total of 15 Lutonbodied 'Transit diesel vans, all Mercia Express ex-company vehicles, were sold. They were five years old or less with mileages ranging from 28,000 to 137,000 miles. Keith Simpson, service manager for Mercia says: "We wanted to dispose of the vans as we no longer handle parcel delivery."
