CHESHIRE Fire Engineering Ltd has been awarded a Elm contract by the Greater London Council for the supply of 26 Dodge-based fire tenders for the London Fire Brigade.
The pumping appliances are based on the Dodge 100-Series G13 chassis/cab powered by the Perkins V8.540 diesel engine and fitted with Allison MT.643 automatic transmission and power steering.
The crew cab is constructed on tubular steel framings and is designed to blend into the original driving cab without restricting its full-tilt facility for ease of servicing access.
