In reply to a written Parli mentary question from Ga. Waller (Brighouse, Spenb rough) the Minister said th following successful negoti tions at a recent UK-Austrii joint committee the quota permits for 1980 has been i creased to 3950 from 3700 1979.

"Austrian permits will no be available on demand to British hauliers authorised transit West Germany, eith by road or by road/rail SE vices. The joint committee w meet again in the autumn discuss the quota for 1981 said Mr Fowler.
