• On October 1, IPC Transport Press Ltd, publishers of 16 journals, including Commercial Motor and Freight Management, will launch a new publication, International Journal of Physical Distribudon. There will be three issues a year.
Published in the English language with multi-lingual synopses, the journal will deal with the application of scientific procedures for the movement of goods, both inwards and outwards, from supplier to customer, without regard to national frontiers.
Editor is Prof. Gordon Wills, of the Management Centre, Bradford University, and the North American editor is Bernard La Londe, Professor of Marketing and Logistics at the Ohio State University. An international editorial advisory panel will include some of the world's outstanding authorities on physical distribution management.
Regular features will include systematic reviews of internationally published work and a register of research work in progress around the world. Every issue will nominally contain nine articles from American and European authors, providing a balance between business, government Ind university contributors_
