This was made clear at a Press onference on Wednesday by Mr C. J. find, director, group engineering. Asked whether Perkins would be arbocharging other engines, chairman and tanaging director Mr Monty Prichard said at the bigger engines would be irbocharged at the appropriate time. The American market was essential to tal volume production; Perkins would sell 6,000 diesels In the USA this year but his trget was 80,000 annually in about five to ix years time.
