Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EVERYONE should have a knowledge of, • at least, the• simple basic factors in first aid, and this applies particularly to drivers, who are more apt to come across instances where such knowledge may mean the difference between life and death.

A few weeks ago we published, in " The Commercial Motor," a series of tips on this subject under the title, "First Aid Guide for the Transport

Man." These were written and illustrated by Mr. R. G. Mair, stores manager of Geo. Ewer and Co.,' Ltd., who is Quartermaster of the Essex 85th Red Cross Detachment, and a first-aid instructor of the British • Red Cross Society.

These articles, together with a chapter on war gases, their characteristics, effects and the early treatment of casualties, have now been reprinted` as

a booklet entitled "The Commercial Motor First Aid Simple Guide," which will be available on September 7, at 6d. net (plus 1d. postage) from the publisher, Temple Press Ltd., Bowling Green Lane, London, E.C.1, or frotri all principal booksellers and newsagents

It is anticipated that the demand will be considerable, so readers should waste no time in placing their orders.
