CEMEX UK MATERIALS has had conditions attached to its O-licence in relation to its facility in Ure Bank, Ripon.
• Authorised vehicles will not stand with engines running unless loading or discharging at the Ure Bank site; • There will be no maintenance of authorised vehicles at the Ure Bank unit; • There shall normally be no operation, movement or loading /unloading of authorised vehicles at the Ure Bank operating centre before 7am or after 6pm Mondays to Fridays; before 7am or after 1pm on Saturdays, and no operation, movement or loading of authorised vehicles on Sundays or Bank Holidays. Where exceptionally there is a requirement to operate outside these times, the matter should be reported to the traffic commissioner giving details of the movements and stating the reason why it was necessary to deviate from the hours stated.
