Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Transnet' is a transport re search and development organisation funded through the London Boroughs Grants scheme. Its particular interest is the application of new technology in the transport sector and it is investigating computer packages for small hauliers.

It now plans to develop an inexpensive and simple package of its own that could be run on an IBM-compatible personal computer.

Transnet therefore wants to contact two or three hauliers who would be willing to give real-life information and data to write the program. In return, they would get a package tailor-made to their needs.

Any hauliers with fewer than 10 vehicles and an annual turnover of less than 2300,000 who are interested in the project should contact Jennie Wilson or Helen Dawson at Transnet on 01-407 1537 or 01-403 7117.
