• John Reynolds has taken over at the top of GKN Vandervell, the Maidenhead-based engine bearing manufacturers, as director and general manager. He succeeds Tom Brown, who successfully guided Vandervell to its present strength during his two years in control.
Reynolds, who has been promoted from the post of manufacturing director, began his career with GKN Sankey; since then he has gained experience in every type of bearing manufacture in Europe and America.
He takes over as a proven Vandervell man with considerable international business experience to lead the company in its highly competitive world markets.
