SCOTTISH Bus Group operators are to receive 225 new buses and coaches worth about £10rr during next year.
Orders placed include 14 10.6m Leyland National 2, 46 11.6m Leyland National 2, ten Leyland Olympians with Alexander R-Type bodies, ten MCW Metrobuses with Alexander RType bodies, 20 Dennis Dominators with Alexander R-Type bodies, 20 Volvo Ailsa Mark 3 with Alexander R-Type bodies, 1E Seddon Pennine 7s with Alexander and Plaxton bodies, 12 Volvc B1OM coaches with Duple Domi nant 3 bodies, eight Leyland BA': coaches with Dominant 3 bo dies, and 70 Leyland Leopard: with Alexander and Duple bo dies.
Two Metrobuses and five Do minators will have Rolls-Royct Eagle engines. The other rear engined deckers will have Gard ner 6LXB engines.
