Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

iCANIA's BR112DH double-decker bus chassis has been revealed bodied for the first time, and looks like becoming one of the most :ompetitively priced deckers on the British Market, writes NOEL ALLIER.

Based on the BR112 and ..:R112 single-deck range, the lew decker also shares many Proven components with the ariculated pusher bus produced at Catrineholm and Scania lorries which, claims its manufacturer, 31lows it to be competitively Priced.

The first completed decker Nas bodied by East Lanes :oachbuilders at Blackburn and joint managing directors Arthur Denson and George Alcock praised the way in which Scania complied with suggestions to modify the chassis originally revealed earlier this year to make it more suitable for British bodywork.

According to East Lancs, the BR112DH should present no problems for British bodybuilders and would cost no more to body than other British chassis.

The first completed bus is a single-entrance short-wheel base 78-seat version destined to become a Scania demonstrator. A second, long-wheelbase, version featuring bonded-in glazing is also near completion and will be shown at the Motor Show.

The BR112DH is powered by the Scania D11 engine developing 142kW (190bhp) coupled to a Voith three-speed automatic D581 gearbox.

It is fitted with full air suspen sion central chassis lubrication, and dual-circuit direct-acting air brakes as standard.
