AN ORDER worth some £500,000 has been won by Taskers Tra i le rs for 160 semitrailers for European operation by bra Inc.
The contract, concluded during the Commercial Motor Show, is for 80 7.3m (24ft) skeletal trailers and for 80 Tasktilt TIR trailers manufactured jointly by Taskers and Cravens Homalloy. The skeletals are fitted with heavy-duty Schulz ISO twistlocks for carrying one 20ft container and feature shallow swan necks to allow 8ft 6 in high containers to be carried within the overall 4m (18.1ft).
