THE Technical Help to Exporters department of the British Standards Institute is to conduct an eight-country survey of the technical requirements for trailers and semi-trailers for highway use. The survey is being sponsored by a number of British trailer manufacturers and the report will be issued in four twocountry sections; the first to be published in November/ December 1974. Each country section of the report will remain confidential to the sponsors for one year.
Apart from the eight countries, which are Sweden, Finland, Denmark, West Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy, the report will also cover EEC and ECE requirements.
