A magnetic-based lamp to provide localized lighting where needed on various maintenance operations has been introduced by Gray-Campling Ltd. The portable lamp automatically clamps itself to any flat surface of a machine or vehicle. and can be angled to provide light according to the nature of the work being performed. It fixes securely to overhead metal surfaces, the strength of the permanent magnet housed in its base being adequate to support it. The lamp is called the Magnaiux M.
