Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

INTER-CITY coaches now going into service in Russia are fitted with air suspension and telescopic dampers in place of steel leaf springs. Other standard features include aircraft-type seats, airconditioning and hydraulic-assisted steering. The vehicles are built at the Lwow factory in the Ukraine, and supersede the existing standard models.

One new model is the Carpathian LAZ 699A, which has the same horsepower, speed, fuel consumption and length as the ZIL-127 at present in service, but weighs 2.1 tons less and carries 41 instead of 32 passengers. Another new bus being developed is the Ukraina which will incorporate glass-fibre construction in the roof and at both ends of the body.

A new bus for city work is also being built and will carry 90 passengers in three rows with a wide gangway and spacious entry and exit platforms. Although the overall dimensions will not exceed those of buses at present in use, a 'more rational use of floor area" has been adopted, and the height will be less. A new design of trolley bus is also on test, and it is hoped to standardize trolleyand motorbus layout.
