PRIZES valued at £850 will be offered by the Institute of British Carriage and Automobile Manufacturers, next year, in their drawing and handicraft competitions. The event is arranged in conjunction with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the Worshipful Company of Coach Makers and Coach Harness Makers of London, and the National Federation of Vehicle Trades.
"At this time, when the necessity of ensuring a continuous flow of new designing talent to maintain Britain's position in the car and commercial vehicle markets is so obvious, we havedone everything to make the series as attractive as possible," said the secretary, Mr. W. E. A. Robinson.
