Iveco provides the pulling power for Fiat Yamaha in Portugal
THE MOTO GP circus rolled into Portugal last weekend for the penultimate round of the series in Estoril. It was a good weekend for the Rat Yamaha team — for which lveco provides eight trucks to move the operation between venues — with riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi puffing off a one-two in the race. Ivaco has a separate deal with series organiser Dorna, providing another 15 vehicles to move the entire race series around Europe.
Fiat Yamaha's drivers left immediately after the event on Sunday night to begin their own race to Valencia in Spain for the last round of the season next weekend. CM will be running a feature on the logistics behind the team at a later date.
