Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DESIGNED for application to studs of 0.125 in. dia. of any malleable material, a stud lock known as the Dotloc has been introduced by the Carr Fastener Co. Ltd. It provides an effective seal against dust, dirt and moisture. The Dotloc is selfthreading and will seal flat even if the stud is out of true by up to 20 deg. It cannot be cross-threaded and will seat correctly at the limit of movement when applied to an outof-true stud. The fastener can be re-used after removal.

Made by: Carr Fastener Co. Ltd., Stapleford, Nottingham.
