rr HE vital question of education in trans1 port was considered by the National Council of the Industrial Transport Association in Birmingham last Saturday. Difficulties confronting prospective students were examined and fell into three categories: (a) shortage of tutors; (b) lack of accommodation; (c) the number of associations with educational programmes.
The council is to meet again on December 3 to discuss these problems with divisional education officers.
The council also decided to mark its 40th anniversary with a congress in Edinburgh during the Scottish Motor Show in November 1967.
