recently regarding the use of an exhaust brake and in particular the transmission-mounted electric retarder.
We have just received an inquiry from overseas for information regarding a speed arrester linked to the transmission. What is the name and address of the manufacturer of this electric retarder?
A No British company at present menu"---s factures a retarder for use in the transmission as you describe, but two types are marketed in this country. These are the French Telma and the Spanish Klam. The concessionaires are Trico-Folberth Ltd.. Great West Road, Brentford, Middx., and Essubrake, 9 Nottingham Road, Isleworth. Middx., respectively.
