NyIEMBERS of the Metropolitan SecPa lion of the Institute of Transport met at the Institute's headquarters on Monday to say farewell to Mr. Cyril F. King on his retirement as honorary secretary of the' section.
Mr. King, who is 61, has been secretary of the section since its formation in 1947. Before then he served the Graduate and Students' Society for many years. On behalf of the members, Mr. S. G. Hearn, chairman of the section, presented Mr. King with a cheque, which he indicated he would use to buy fireside chairs.
