The coming of age dinner of the Commercial Motor Users Association wi I be held to morrow (Wednesday) at tt,e Savoy II, tel the chair being occup.ed by the president, Mr E. S. Shrapneil Smith, C.B.E. A number of distinguished guests has been invited.
The dinner will be preceded by the quarterly meeting of the National Council of the Association at the Royal Autemobile Club, and will be followed by a visit, on Thursday, to the Chiswick works of the London General Omnibus Co., Ltd., and the Great Western arterial roads.
