Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Well is it or isn't it? If you had talked to the manufacturers at last week's RHA TipCon show you'd have got a different story of how well the tipper market is doing from each of them. No question the industry has grown—last year the spend on new private, industrial and commercial property rose by 16,10 and 5%, fuelling the demand for construction vehicles.

"it will be even more dramatic than it was in 1990".

Fears of a new recession don't seem to have put tippermen off from buying Leyland Dafs. The Anglo-Dutch manufacturer has climbed back to the top of the tipper sales league including both six and eight-wheelers with 75 and 85 picking up where the Constructors left off. "New" vehicles were noticeably absent at Harrogate—the only exception was the latest Foden 4000 Series. For the rest it was a matter of tweeking and consolidating.
