• CTF Training of Preston has placed a million order for more than 200 vehicles, many of them Ford Transit minibuses, with vehicle management services specialist PHH AllStar of Swindon.
The contract hire package includes some elements of purchase leaseback.
CTF Training is the country's second largest supplier of Government-sponsored training for the unemployed. The minibuses will transport trainees to CTF skills-training centres in the North, east Midlands and Wales.
The move follows the Government's employment initiative last September, which led CIF to reorganise and order a new fleet.
