Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Steyr Trucks (UK) is to unveil a "hushed and emission friendly" vehicle based on the Steyr 17S21 17-tonne two-axle rigid at the Institution of Road Transport Engineers annual conference on 10 May.

Steyr has developed a "hush" kit as an option on its range of rigids which costs less than £500 and is said to reduce external drive-by noise to 80dBA. The kit is also available as a retro-fit package.

The show vehicle will spearhead a new Steyr UK sales drive called the "Green Lorry Campaign". The company says the kit holds emissions well under EC limits and does not obstruct normal service accessibility. It features a Steyrdeveloped lightweight noiseinsulation material, an extra silencer and noise dissipating "trumpet" silencers for valves in the braking system.

El The first Steyr in the UK to be fitted with a lorry loader is now in service with Bristol Design Construct. The lorry loader is a Palfinger PK 13500.
