LONDON Buses has won maintenance contracts for coach operators which involve the parking, refuelling and cleaning of vehicles.
Several National Bus Company subsidiaries and Armstrong Galley, the Tyne and Wear PTE coach operating arm use the Gillingham Street garage at Victoria.
Scottish Bus Group coaches in London have long used Stockwell and Camberwell depots and now Wallace Arnold, which has recently closed its Croydon depot, is stationing around 30 vehicles at Norwood garage in South London.
In addition, London Buses has reached agreement with Eurotours for facilities in Clapham.
London Buses wants to extend this type of service where it has surplus garage capacity.
