REED EXHIBITIONS, which is organising the CM-sponsored International Bus and Coach Exhibition at London's Earls Court from September 11 to 14, is planning to make the event as international as its title suggests.

The company is in touch with British High Commissions and embassies around the world and it plans to invite representatives for all countries currently considering the purchase of either buses or coaches, or equipment or services.

It is supporting this with a major international campaign to invite visitors to the event.

It is also hoping to attract visitors from other continents who will be making a trip to the International Motor Show in Frankfurt at the same time by arranging a package to enable them to include the London show in their itinerary.

Already 40 per cent of the stand space at the exhibition has been sold, with most major and British European bus and coach manufacturers taking part. The list of confirmed exhibitors includes Leyland Bus, Volvo, Daf, Scania, Hestair Duple, Iveco, Ford, MAN-VW, Van Hool and Jonckheere.

In addition to the major manufacturers, bus and coach dealers and smaller coachbuilders and minibus conversions companies are expected to take part. The Kirkby Group and Dormobile have already booked stand space.
