Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BRS group subsidiaries BRS Northern and BRS Midlands have appointed new branch managers.

The Tameside, Runcorn and Carlisle depots of the Northern company all have new managers. Looking after Tameside with its 140 vehicle fleet, contract hire and truck rental operations is Jim Weir.

Ted Ellison, who takes the position vacated at Runcorn by Mr Weir, moves in the opposite direction; he was formerly Tameside branch operations manager.

At Runcorn Mr Ellison will be responsible for a mixed contract and general haulage fleet of 50 vehicles. Two major contracts are with Bass Brewery and ICI Mond Division.

Jim Elliot moves from Preston, where he was truck rental manager, to become manager of BRS Northern's Carlisle branch.

BRS Midlands has promoted Mike Veater to succeed Duncan Tart as manager of its Cambridge branch. Mr Tart has moved to BRS Stevenage. Mr Veater, who joined BRS Midlands last August, is promoted from contracts and administration controller. Previously, he had worked for agricultural merchants James and G. H. Matthews as administrator of the company's Maplestead depot.
