The "fixing" business, originated by Jimmy Savile, is growing. Ford News at Halewood is now offering to try; to make a few dreams come true for employees and their families. The first assignment was to take two children and their father on a 220ft climb up to the Liver clock on Liverpool's Royal Liver Building.
It is a gimmick that could easily be overdone and become self-defeating. So what about "The Hawk"11 unfix it" by way of a change? My aim would be to make the biggest possible mess of a simple request and cause the maximum disappointment. As on the authority of M.
